Transcription: We file fishes have a very distinctive front dorsal fin spine much farther forward than other fishes. It goes up and down as I swim. In this phase, I am still called a white spotted file fish even though I don't have any white spots. With or without spots, I still usually have a light colored patch on the upper middle part of my back.
